About the Opportunity
We’re seeking a Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist
with strong communication skills who thrives in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. You’ll be involved in a diverse mix of projects—from coastal and rural developments to urban, industrial, residential, commercial, and public infrastructure.
Whether it's a small subdivision or a large-scale development, hillside or flatland, you’ll work alongside a skilled in-house team known for tackling complex projects with confidence and creativity.
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology
- At least 5 years of relevant New Zealand experience
- Solid experience in slope stability analysis, liquefaction studies, and foundation/pile design
- Geotechnical investigations experience, including site inspections, geotechnical drilling, testing and monitoring programs.
- Providing quality check and review experience to an appropriate technical standard
- Ideally, familiarity with contaminated land assessments under the NESCS
- CPEng or progression towards this
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
