The services on offer

Process Optimisation

Sometimes optimising the production or manufacturing process can make a world of difference at an industrial site. But it can often be a challenge to identify exactly which parts of the process need to be tweaked in order to get the plant really humming along. We have a dedicated Optimisation Team at DETA that work with clients to analyse their processes, whether it be part or all of their operation chain and look for ways to improve productivity and efficiency.

Energy Management

Reducing ongoing energy costs and consumption is a focus for many businesses. DETA has one of the largest energy management teams in Australasia, with accredited auditors, specialists in process heat and refrigeration, and certified measurement and verification professionals. When we connect with clients in the energy management space we usually start with an energy audit. This typically identifies short- and long-term process improvements. We focus on creating long-term relationships with clients to help them realise their energy efficiency goals by facilitating the next steps, developing and implementing energy management projects.

Full Project Delivery Service

Our DETA people have to be flexible and ready to help clients at any part of their project journey. DETA Teams will help with concept and feasibility studies, process control, automation, and networking upgrades. We get involved with technical and commercial bids, shutdown planning, plant commissioning and troubleshooting. We help with Turnkey installations, and project scheduling. Essentially, we provide professional services to optimise business processes, drive improved performance and deliver lasting business value to our clients.

Water & Wastewater Reduction

Water is a critical resource for many of our customers and using water in the most efficient manner can de-risk business from an operational and consenting perspective. DETA’s expertise in water efficiency spreads broader than just water reduction, with experience in yield recovery from wastewater, hazardous waste stream optimization and water mitigation strategies. When we deliver water projects, we pride ourselves on helping clients to realise substantial energy and water savings as well as focusing on yield and other productivity improvements.

Transport & Sustainability Strategy

Increasingly businesses are being expected to show action towards sustainble futures and demonstrate leadership in tackling the difficult environmental problems facing the planet. DETA teams work with organisations to unpack their sustainability challenges and identify actionable changes for their sustainability strategy. This might be starting with a sustainability roadmap, or looking at practices that will help businesses work towards net-zero. Transport infrastructure and logistics are complex challenges for many of the organisations we work with – our DETA teams have helped many businesses with transport modelling that focuses on forging carbon effcient routes, and future-proofing strategic plans for new fuels and technology.

Decarbonisation Roadmapping

We are on a long-term journey to decarbonise as many business sectors as we can and make a real difference. DETA are experts in developing carbon strategies and have worked with organisations across New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific. Our expertise is in developing medium to long-term roadmaps for businesses that then help them to have a clear path for navigating the carbon landscape both economically and operationally. Working on these projects, our team will help organisations to analyse carbon footprints, develop decarbonising roadmaps, futureproof carbon strategies, and plan for fuel switching and optimisation.
