The Opportunity
We’re looking for a talented Functional Consultant to join our Digital team. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and supporting our Salesforce Field Service platform (Planning, Scheduling, Dispatch) as we build out our bespoke system (Rama) and scale up to support thousands of trade professionals and partners across New Zealand.

What You’ll Do
- Lead the design, configuration, testing, and rollout of Salesforce Field Service (Planning, Scheduling, Dispatch) solutions, ensuring seamless integration with our broader digital ecosystem.
- Provide 2nd/3rd level support, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues, and engaging with vendors as needed.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and developers to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to optimise business processes and digital workflows.
- Educate and upskill users and stakeholders on new ways of working, supporting change management and adoption.
- Champion Switched On Group’s values, prioritising wellbeing, teamwork, and customer aroha in everything you do.
- Proven experience as a Functional Consultant, Business Analyst, or similar role, ideally with strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce Field Service (Planning, Scheduling, Dispatch) or equivalent field service platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics).
- In-depth understanding of field service operations, resource scheduling, and dispatch processes.
- Strong grasp of software development lifecycles (SDLC), digital solution delivery, and user support.
- Excellent communication skills, able to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline preferred; certifications (ITIL, PMP, Salesforce) highly regarded.
