Are you an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a passion for manufacturing transformation? Talent Hive is seeking an exceptional contract BA to play a critical role in a major production innovation program driving sustainable change and technology adoption in the food sector.

About the Opportunity
You will join a leading Australasian manufacturer undergoing significant transformation, redesigning all production processes to meet ambitious sustainability and efficiency targets. Your mission: translate operational needs into practical, future-proof systems and workflows that support batch traceability, decarbonisation, recyclable packaging upgrades, and a seamless move to new technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with subject matter experts and system vendors to design and validate best-practice production processes end-to-end.
  • Bring cross-functional alignment between production, planning, QA, and warehouse teams, ensuring readiness for solution testing and go-live.
  • Design workflows and workstation setups to deliver batch-level traceability and compliance.
  • Identify data and process gaps, refine requirements, and support configuration, testing, and documentation.
  • Support change management and training materials for factory teams, contributing to SOP development and cutover planning.
  • Act as a proactive bridge between technical and operational teams, ensuring early value delivery across multiple sites.
  • Champion continuous process improvement in an environment transitioning from highly manual to cloud-based digital operations.
About You
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within manufacturing, ideally food/FMCG sectors.
  • Strong understanding of production design, work and machine center setup, and batch/material traceability.
  • Hands-on Microsoft Visio skills and knowledge of cloud-based systems.
  • Exceptional relationship management, facilitation, and presentation skills—comfortably driving engagement and change among diverse teams.
  • Track record of delivering process improvement, documentation, and change management in transformation projects.
Why Join
  • Be at the forefront of industry-leading sustainability and technology initiatives.
  • Collaborate with passionate, empowered teams navigating organisational change.
  • Deliver outcomes that drive lasting efficiency and environmental impact.
  • Flexible work arrangements and competitive daily contract rates.
How to Apply
Interested applicants should submit a CV outlining relevant experience in manufacturing process design, FMCG, and transformation delivery.
