Switched On Group is seeking an experienced Head of Programme Delivery to join the Digital Team. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving successful delivery of digital initiatives using best-practice project management and agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor programme and project teams, overseeing delivery across a diverse digital project portfolio.
- Ensure alignment with business strategy and the Digital Roadmap, acting as Senior Project Manager for high-priority projects.
- Establish and embed robust governance and risk management practices.
- Engage stakeholders, build effective relationships, and drive issue resolution.
- Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and prioritisation to ensure value and benefits realisation.
- Champion agile, hybrid, and traditional delivery methods, supporting continuous improvement and team capability uplift.
- Oversee solution deployment and seamless transition to business as usual.
- Model and promote Switched On Group's values in every interaction, supporting a positive, inclusive, high-performing culture.
- Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing practices meet company standards.
- Extensive leadership experience in digital, IT, or business transformation project delivery.
- Proven success delivering complex portfolios with Agile, traditional, or hybrid methodologies.
- Advanced skills in project governance, risk management, benefits frameworks, stakeholder management, and strategic planning.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, business, or related discipline; professional certifications (MSP, PRINCE2, PMI, Agile-SCRUM) highly regarded.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid NZ driver's license and willingness to travel between South and North Island offices.
